Job Purpose :
Analyze business processes, recommend changes to optimize processes and elminiate waste out of the system and manage implementation projects.
1. To cultivate strong relationships with the different group companies at all levels of the organizations and to manage cultural and technical improvements that should inevitably result in quantum leaps from quality, cost and time perspectives.
2. Under the guidance of a senior consultant and depending on the nature of the project, employee may join a team of consultants or may work individually to oversee the initiation and execution of multiple simulateneous projects . Generally, Project activities include yet not be limited to :
i) Project selection and initiation
ii) Processes analysis
iii) Recommending changes to optmize processes and eleminate waste
iv) Manage implementation
3 Act in the capacity of a project team member and coordinate all activities with a senior consultant
Knowledge , Skills and Experience
Bachelors degree in Industrial Engineering
Masters degree in Industrial Engineering or an MBA / Preferred
Must have 2-5 years experience in the Industrial Engineering field
Must have strong background and direct implementation involvement ( at least 2 years ) with the continuous process imprvoement concept
Six Sigma / Lean manufacturing background preferred
Strong MS office knowledge
Strong statistical background
Good Operation research Optmization Methods knowledge
Bilingual ( Arabic / English)
Experience with Simulation sofrware preferred but not required
Experience with Data bases preferred but not required
Programming knowledge preferred but not required
A strong team player who can function in a team environment as well as manage projects on his/ her own
Open mind for change and shifting priorities
Strong investigative, people and data collection skills
